Nutritional Services Manager - Full-time

About the Role

Manage the nutritional services department, overseeing staffing, scheduling, training, and productivity to ensure quality and safety in food services. Supervise and coordinate activities of team members, employing professional discretion and independent judgment. Serve as a working supervisor with comprehensive knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations, monitor staffing and census, and anticipate issues.
• Ensure delivery of quality nutritional care, screen patients for nutritional risks, and coordinate interventions.
• Manage procurement in collaboration with culinary and dietetic staff, optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
• Maintain accurate records related to patient diets, nutrition assessments, and interventions.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met, including equipment operation and care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; master's preferred.
• Five years' technical experience and one year of leadership experience preferred.
• Licenses/certifications such as Registered Dietitian (RD) and SERV Safe are preferred.
• Strong supervisory, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of nutrition, safety standards, and resource management.
