Nutrition Services Manager

About the role

The Plaza at Lubbock in Lubbock, TX is seeking an experienced Nutrition Services Manager to lead our facility’s Nutrition Services Department. In this role, you will oversee the food services team to create a positive dining experience for our residents, ensuring superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services that meet the needs of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory and facility standards, clinical documentation, and staffing and budget compliance
• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of the dining services department
• Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving
• Coordinate assignments of cooking personnel
• Maintain standards for personnel performance and customer service

Requirements

• Food Protection Manager Certification
• Previous management/supervisory experience
• Experience in a long-term care setting (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible and able to set priorities with minimal supervision
