Nutrition Services Aide
Job Overview
Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for St. Johns Hospital. This position offers 80 hours per a 2-week pay period.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food in an efficient, safe, and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques.
- Covers, labels, dates, and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met.
- Washes dishes and/or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames.
- P Practices proper infection control methods including handwashing, personal hygiene, and infection control policies.
- Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays.
- Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service.
- Delivers floor stock and/or nourishments to patients and nursing units.
- Performs a variety of cafeteria and/or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation.
- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- No experience required
- No academic credentials required
- Prioritizing a high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Pay
The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.
