About the role
This position is effective July 1, 2025, with a pay range of $19.55 - $23.40 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Cooking and baking
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen areas
- Allergy awareness and safe food handling
- Lifting up to 60 pounds
Food handlers permit required. Meals, uniforms, and shoes are provided free of charge.
Schedule
Typical working hours are 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, on days when schools are in session.

- Retirement: Benefit-eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the Utah Retirement Systems (URS). The district contributes to the URS plan monthly. After a four-year vesting period, employees may choose between:
- Hybrid option (pension + 401k plan)
- 401k option (employer-paid)
