Job Summary
We’re looking for a driven and compassionate Nutrition Care Manager (CDM or DTR) to make a real impact in senior living. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a Registered Dietitian to support resident health through personalized nutrition care, help shape menus that truly reflect resident needs and preferences, and lead daily dining operations. What You'll Do:
- Resident Nutrition Care: Conduct nutrition screenings, implement individualized care plans, and monitor residents’ progress in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian
- Menu Planning & Dining Experience: Partner with the dining team to plan resident-centered menus and ensure high-quality, enjoyable meal service that meets both clinical and personal preferences
- Team Leadership & Staff Development: Supervise, train, and motivate dining services staff to deliver excellence while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards
- Quality & Satisfaction Initiatives: Lead or participate in quality improvement efforts that enhance resident satisfaction, streamline operations, and improve clinical outcomes
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure ongoing adherence to HIPAA, federal and state regulations, and facility policies related to nutrition care and foodservice operations
What We're Looking For:
- Average or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field
- Credentialed as a CDM or DTR (preferred)
- Experience in senior living, healthcare foodservice, or supervisory roles a strong plus
- ServSafe® certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office, EMRs, nutrient analysis, and diet office systems
