Nutrition Attendant PRN

Job Summary

Provide exceptional customer service to patients, family members, physicians and nursing for a variety of meal service necessities by following Food and Nutrition Service Standards. This includes menu and meal explanations, basic diet instructions and modifications, advance notice of meal selections and timely documentation of alternate food preferences.

Required Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts as well as weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed.
• Must have one (1) year experience in high volume, direct customer interaction.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, family, hospital staff, fellow workers and department management team.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and use a tablet (iPad).
• Mandatory Education: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer one (1) year experience high volume, direct customer interaction.

Preferred Education

• HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate.
