Nutrition Aide

About the role

Prepare cold food and nourishments, serve food to customers in the cafeteria and on the patient tray line, operate the cash register, and wash dishes, pots and pans, etc. used in daily meal service. In the Bistro, prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks, take orders for the Espresso, coffee shop, make baked goods, and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cold food and nourishments
• Serve food to customers in the cafeteria and on the patient tray line
• Operate the cash register
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans used in daily meal service
• In the Bistro, prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks
• Take orders for the Espresso, coffee shop, make baked goods, and deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to be on feet up to 8 hours a day
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Enjoys working alone as well as working with other staff
• Coffee shop experience waiting tables experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, prior equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of diploma
• Baking pastries, espresso and coffee equipment knowledge a plus

Casual/On-Call Work Schedule: 3pm-7pm and 3:30pm-7pm weekdays and every other weekend
