Nutrient Manufacturing Associate

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and perform tasks that support various business needs in manufacturing, including coating, Roller Compaction, blending, milling, pressing, and cleaning of various manufacturing equipment, as well as weekly majors
• Identify and check materials to be used in production
• Verify that correct materials and correct lots are being pulled
• Weigh all material needed, checking all materials and weights; complete paperwork
• Operate equipment to move materials
• Load mixer and blend material for required amount of time
• Empty mixture into proper container
• Weigh completed formulas to accurate measures
• Operate drying equipment as per established procedures
• Operate forklift (mount & dismount) and operate electric power jack
• Advance paperwork to its proper place
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Assist in other departments as needed and work closely with all other departments

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED or 5 years work equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to identify all material used
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of raw material
• Must be able to push cones of raw materials over 330 lbs
• Must be able to stand long periods of time
• Must be able to read and write English
• Consistently promote and maintain a harmonious/productive team effort
• Contribute to the department team effort by helping the team achieve the results needed
• Requires medium to heavy work, including continuous physical exertion such as frequent bending, lifting or climbing up ladders and stairs
• Report to work on a daily basis to meet customer and production goals, as well as comply with company attendance policy
• This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend and stoop; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift up to 50 pounds and/or move/push product on wheels over 330 lbs. Compensation

The salary range for this position is $40,000.00 - $66,000.00. Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings. This position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.

Schedule

Swing Shift: 3pm – 11:30pm
