Nursing Tech-Day Shift

About the role

Sheltering Arms Institute is seeking a Nursing Tech to join the day‑shift team. The Nursing Tech is a key member of the care team, working alongside nurses, doctors, therapists, and medical psychologists to provide direct, age‑specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and the plan of care as directed by a licensed practitioner.

Pay

Compensation Pay Range: $17.00 – $26.00 per hour. Night or weekend shifts are eligible for shift differential pay; differential rates vary by shift hours and are added to the base hourly rate. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation as a nursing assistant or aide.

Education and Certifications

• Completion of a state‑recognized CNA program.
• Nurse Aide licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS HCP certification or equivalent.

Schedule

Day shift; night or weekend shifts may be required and are eligible for differential pay.
