About the role

Provides tactical support to meet the goals and objectives of the organization and service for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, evaluates, disciplines, coaches and monitors staff.
• Contributes to the efficient and effective operations of the service.
• Maintains clinical competency and utilizes the nursing process.
• Ensures appropriate care, equipment and services for the population served.
• Maintains ongoing regulatory readiness of the staff and service.
• Adheres to customer service standards and holds staff accountable.
• Provides prompt service recovery when necessary.

Requirements

• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer skills.
• Windows computer skills including keyboarding, mouse usage, and basic software proficiency.
• Current CA RN License.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related clinical experience or 2 years with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Prior financial management experience.

Skills

• Understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
• Compliance with Palomar Health's rules, policies, and procedures.
