Nursing Supervisor - Full Time Nights

About the Role

Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 177-bed hospital with 159 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds and an 18-bed ARU. We provide in-depth care for an extended recovery period, specializing in patients recovering from acute injuries, impairments, or illnesses. The role involves supervising nursing staff, assessing patient needs, and delivering nursing care while planning and organizing training for unit staff.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocols and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately.
• Maintains patient health care records.
• Maintains supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Good and regular attendance.
• Must read, write, and speak fluent English.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Two years of nursing experience in a hospital.
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Pay

$55.00-$69.75 per hour, plus a $15,000 bonus.
