Nursing Supervisor- 32 Hours

About the Role

The Nursing Supervisor is a professional nurse responsible for coordination and supervision of patient care across multiple nursing units and departments during evening, night, and weekend shifts. This role works closely with Clinical Managers and others to ensure high-quality, timely service for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a role model, providing clinical direction to staff.
• Demonstrates expertise in the nursing process and evaluates care provided by nursing personnel.
• Ensures high-quality, cost-efficient patient care by making appropriate staffing decisions.
• Demonstrates responsibility for human resource management within the Nursing Division and the Hospital to achieve high-quality patient care and a harmonious work environment.
• Functions as the on-site hospital representative accountable for coordinating operational and administrative activities during evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• Plans and directs Nursing Division activities to comply with established policies and achieve divisional goals.
• Establishes and maintains interdisciplinary communication and cooperation.
• Promotes a positive image of the Nursing Division through effective interaction with patients, visitors, physicians, the community, and the public.
• Demonstrates commitment to personal career growth and development.

Requirements

• Nursing degree required: diploma, ASN, or BSN (preferred). Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
• 5+ years of Staff Nurse experience, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
• Leadership experience required.
• Must demonstrate clinical knowledge and skills necessary to oversee care for patients ranging in age from infancy to geriatrics.
• MA RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.

Pay

Compensation range: $43.51–$63.22 per hour. This range is based on minimum job qualifications and considers factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Geographic location may modify the range.
