Responsibilities
- Coordinates the scheduling of staff to maintain the staffing standards as designated.
- Finds coverage for any open shift as necessary.
- Assists in all aspects of managing use of agency staffing including working to find employee coverage first and reducing agency use.
- Maintains complete list of agency staff not allowed to return to any of the three buildings, and ensures they are not scheduled to work.
- Monitors absenteeism and tardiness of employees and makes follow up with Director of Health and Wellness.
- Schedules and coordinates new employee orientation in coordination with the Director of Health and Wellness.
- Completes all skills audits for new Caregivers prior to them taking assignment by themselves.
- Ensures all Caregivers have received First Aide Training.
- Ensures all new hire paperwork for new nursing hires is completed and scanned to HR.
- Utilize all communication processes set up including scheduling text groups and email groups.
- Monitors and administer PTO, floating holiday, sick pay, holiday pay, and other non-productive pay appropriate for each employee’s balance in each of those benefit areas. Includes managing holiday rotation.
- Adjust and manage staffing daily in response to facility census changes.
- Maintains employee phone lists and updates weekly with all new hires and status changes.
- Maintains confidentiality of employee health and personal concerns.
- Answers nursing staff employees’ scheduling emails in a timely manner.
- Coordinates the distribution and acknowledgment of receipt of changes in policies, procedures, non-confidential forms, employee handbook, etc. as requested by Human Resources and nursing department administration.

- All other duties as assigned and/or appropriate to the position.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: At least two years prior medical offices experience including scheduling preferred. Experience using Paycor or other payroll/scheduling system is helpful.
- Specialized knowledge, skills, or abilities: Computer experience required, specifically proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, must be skilled at multi-tasking and paying attention to fine details.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (on-call responsibilities required outside business hours and every other weekend as needed).
Pay
Salary, starting at $48,000.00/year, based on experience.
