Responsibilities
- Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards.
- Serve as a supervisor to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as directed.
- Provide personal hygiene assistance such as bedpan, urinal, bath, backrub, shampoo, and shave services.
- Ambulate, turn, and position patients to maintain their stability.
- Ensure patient hydration and nutrition by providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Monitor vital signs, test urine, and record intake and output information to maintain patient stability.
Qualifications
- Licensed in Indiana as a Qualified Medication Aide.
- Maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
