Responsibilities
- Enhance nursing staff's professional growth through educational programs, training, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs, develop curricula, and implement strategies to improve practice and patient outcomes.
- Advance the nursing profession by supporting lifelong learning, promoting research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
- Use educational design to address practice gaps and influence inter-professional practice and learning environments.
- Support nurse transitions across roles and environments and lead process transformations through project management and change initiatives.
- Disseminate new knowledge to improve clinical practice and patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience, with inpatient pediatric behavioral health experience required.
- One year of Nursing Professional Development (NPD) experience preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience in data analysis and project management preferred.
- Strong ability to work across all organizational levels and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
Education & Certifications
- Master's degree in nursing or related field preferred; BSN candidates in process of attaining master's are eligible.
- Registered Nurse licensure, BLS certification required; PALS may be required.
- Professional nursing certification preferred.
Full-time, onsite position with responsibilities for promoting professional development and improving nursing practice.
