Nursing Professional Development Generalist: (Emergency Dept)

Job Summary

This NPDG will be supporting the Emergency Department at Illinois Masonic in Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Primary focus is at the site level and supporting system initiatives as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing required
  • 3+ years’ recent frontline nursing experience within the Emergency Department required
  • Current AHA CPR
  • Excellent written and oral communications including strong presentation/speaking skills
  • Proficient at incorporating adult learning principles, online and in person teaching methods to maximize learning and the application of that learning
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, planning and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
