About the role

Seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee a patient care unit, service, or program with responsibility for 24-hour management, policy development, staffing, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care delivery and ensure high-quality standards
• Develop staffing plans and manage human resources activities such as hiring, evaluating, coaching, and performance management
• Oversee budget planning and management for assigned units or services
• Support educational and research activities for staff
• Develop and monitor quality indicators, implement performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure availability of age-appropriate supplies and train staff to meet patient needs
• Plan and evaluate projects and unit goals, along with personal performance objectives
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; nursing diploma or Associate degree accepted with commitment to further education
• Minimum of three years RN experience, with two years in a relevant nursing area; supervisory experience preferred
• Current RN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or applicable state
• Specialty certification preferred
