About the role

Kaplan North America is seeking Master's prepared nurses for the role of Nursing Instructor in Warrensburg, MO. The ideal candidate should be passionate about helping new nursing graduates pass the NCLEX exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high energy level and engage students to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and instructional meetings as required.
• Support students through the Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) program.

Requirements

• MSN or BSN with Masters degree required.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

Qualifications

Pay

Hourly teaching rate starts at $40/hr. Hourly coaching rate is $35/hr.
