About the role

The Staff Nurse is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications.
• Administers treatments, including, but not limited to: dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
• Affords assistance in direct resident care as necessary.
• Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
• Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
• Responds to resident emergency call system as indicated.
• Makes rounds with physicians and transcribes orders.
• Keeps physician and family aware of changes in resident's condition.
• Affords assurance of the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
• Affords assurance of continuity of services and care.
• Affords participation in in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• A letter from your nursing program that indicates you have graduated.
• Schedule your NCLEX as soon as you are able.
• CNA license preferred but not required.

Pay

Full-time & Part-time Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on shift
