About the Role

This leadership position supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in managing all nursing and patient care functions within a hospital setting. It involves overseeing nursing practice across multiple units, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective patient care, and maintaining clinical staff competency. The role requires 24/7 accountability for designated areas and serves as a key advocate and role model for nursing professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices.
• Support resource management and operational efficiency.
• Provide leadership and support to the senior executive team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the practice state.
• Associate degree in nursing with a bachelor's in a healthcare-related field or BSN.
• At least 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment.
• CPR certification.

• Master's degree in healthcare or related field.
