About the role
Organize and oversee all medical services for our group home residents, including arranging appointments, providing client-centered care to residents, and ensuring adherence to physician instructions.
Facilitate effective communication between MDs, nurses, and Group Home Management to ensure that excellent support is being provided.
Ensure that all healthcare plans, quarterly nursing assessments, immunizations and TB's are kept up to date and corporate compliance is adhered to.
Facilitate pre-work physicals for all new staff and provide medical administration training to all direct care staff.
Maintain availability to provide afterhours support within the Group Homes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the medical care of adults with developmental disabilities in our group homes clients, while providing support in other nursing procedures, such as administering flu shots and conducting training programs for staff.
Requirements
- State licensure (LPN or RN)
- 2 years of nursing experience is preferred and experience with IDD population is a plus.

Schedule
- Full-time position that works Monday - Friday.
- Includes weekend on-call rotation which may require the nurse on-call to come in and assess clients as needed.
