About the role

The Telemetry Unit at PMPH is seeking a Part Time Nursing Assistant to work 7PM-730AM, two 12-hour shifts per week. This role works closely with nurses to deliver comprehensive care to patients with conditions such as CHF, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Myocardial Infarction, Pacemakers, and Cardiac effusions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting nurses in delivering nursing care through participation in the nursing process.
• Demonstrating respect and dignity towards all patients, their families, guests, and colleagues.
• Maintaining efficiency in the use of products, supplies, and equipment.
• Safeguarding the timely completion of duties and promoting financial viability.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• Basic Life Saving certification (BLS) - Must be completed and certified within the first two weeks of orientation and before patient care assignment.
• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
