Nursing Assistant - Straight Nights - Mayville Medical Center
About the role
The Mayville Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant to serve as caregiver to patients during their scheduled work period. The role involves providing patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living activities
- Making sure patient conditions are monitored and reported
- Ensuring patient safety and well-being
- Working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Every third weekend and 2-3 holidays required
- Eligible for additional pay including straight night premium, night differential, and weekend differential
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
- A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred
- Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
- If working in North Dakota or Minnesota, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant through the respective state's health department within four months of hire
- If working in Wisconsin, must be registered with the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry with current work eligibility

Pay & Schedule
$17.00 - $24.00 per hour
$2,500 sign-on bonus available!
