Work Schedule

100% FTE, 40 hours per week. This is a Day/Evening position, 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday with start times varying between 7:00 am - 7:30 am. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at 1 S. Park St. Medical Center in Madison, WI.

About the Role

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA, CNA) to:

  • Prepare patients for the Operating Room and/or procedure requiring anesthesia.
  • Obtain vital signs, reposition patients, and comfort patients.
  • Prepare charts for the following day’s patients.
  • Interact and engage with patients and their families to establish a trusting relationship and assist with wayfinding.
  • Work within a dynamic team and be a part of a fast pace setting!

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program.
  • 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant.

Preferred

  • Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry.
