Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem/PRN

About the role

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with various medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks to patients who are unable to feed themselves, and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely, participating in the mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that enhance the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Requirements

• Minimum requirements: Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• PREFERRED qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, hospital experience, and certification as a nursing assistant.

Per Diem Requirement

• Four (4) shifts per 6-week schedule.
• One Saturday or Sunday, one Winter/Summer holiday.
