Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem Night

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent care during some of the most vulnerable moments of patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care services including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant)
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire

Schedule

• PRN/Per Diem night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Ability to pick up shifts at both Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed

Pay

• $22.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends
