Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem

Pay

$23.00 per hour with competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers; assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
