Nursing Assistant (NA) - Per Diem

About the role

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. The Nursing Assistant (NA) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Pick up shifts at both Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.
• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.

• Basic computer literacy.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Pay

$22.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekends.

Schedule

PRN/Per Diem Day Shift; 12-hour shifts.
