Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Nightshift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Northwest Detroit is a critical illness recovery hospital that provides world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products
• Oral hygiene and oral feeding
• Care of hair
• Transporting patients to and from various treatment centers
• Moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintaining cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
• Maintaining unit stock levels of supplies and equipment
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student) preferred

Pay

$18.00 - $24.24 per hour based on years of experience. Sign-On Bonus: $2,500

Fulltime Nightshift Hours: 7:00p - 7:00am
