About the role
Nursing Assistants (NA) at SSH-Knoxville are integral to providing compassionate, excellent care to patients during their critical recovery periods.
Responsibilities
- Bathing using basin-less bath products
- Oral hygiene and oral feeding
- Care of hair
- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers
- Assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
- Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student) preferred

Pay
Competitive, new rates with a sign-on bonus of $2500
