Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-Time

About the role

Cleveland Clinic Rehab Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, located in Beachwood, OH, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join an inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well‑being of the patient.
• Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Hospital experience and/or certification as a nursing assistant (preferred; may be required based on state regulations).
• Post‑offer employment testing (POET) completed as part of onboarding before the first day of work.

Pay

Hourly wage range: $17.75 – $21.94 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 for night shift, $5,000 for day shift.

Schedule

Full‑time, 12‑hour shifts.
