Location: 9100 W 74TH ST, Shawnee Mission, KS 66204 (United States of America). Full‑time, day shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care by performing tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately perform vital signs and document in the electronic medical record.
• Document and report all procedures accurately and in accordance with department policy.
• Perform duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Function appropriately within scope in clinical emergencies.
• Participate in practice changes resulting from performance improvement activities and support quality standards and initiatives.
• Follow CDC isolation guidelines, demonstrate appropriate use of PPE, perform hand hygiene according to policy, and enforce safety regulations.
• Exhibit a desire to learn and upgrade skills continuously.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• May perform point‑of‑care testing based on competency and hospital policy.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
• Work Experience: 1+ applicable PCT experience (Preferred)
• Licenses & Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) (Preferred)
  • Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) (Preferred)
  • Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) (Preferred)

Pay

Pay Range: $16.42 – $26.28 per hour
