Nursing Assistant -Med Surg Neuro - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care
• Aid with nutritional needs
• Offer comfort care and other assistance
• Properly and safely transfer patients
• Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
• Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred, if no CNA, must be registered as a Nurse Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health within three months of date of employment
• BLS certification required within 3 months after hire
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
