We are seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA, NA) to join our team at East Madison Hospital. We are expanding services on the Medical/Surgical Inpatient floors. You will be a supportive partner with Registered Nurses on an inpatient Medical Surgical unit, providing care to both medical and surgical patients. Your duties will include direct physical care and basic nursing procedures per hospital policies, assisting with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, patient mobility, intentional rounding, and performing 12‑lead ECGs. You will interact with visitors, patients, and family members to build trusting relationships and deliver high‑quality care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility focused on innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical care and basic nursing procedures and treatments per hospital policies.
- Assist with activities of daily living, repositioning, transfers, and patient mobility.
- Perform intentional rounding and 12‑lead ECGs.
- Interact and engage with visitors, patients, and family members to establish trusting relationships.
- Support Registered Nurses on an inpatient Medical/Surgical unit.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in a long‑term care facility (preferred
