Responsible Tasks

Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, including personal hygiene care and assistance with nutritional needs.

Recognizes and deals with the problems associated with the aging process, and reports any changes in resident condition to the shift nurse promptly.

Maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents.

Aware of and prevents the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility.

Maintains awareness of safety issues and takes corrective actions for identified hazards and emergency situations.

Licensure/Certification

Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
