About the role

Mill Pond is seeking Part-Time Nursing Assistants (Caregiver / Resident Assistant) to join our team. Current openings include part-time morning shifts from 6am - 2pm.

Located on five acres south of First Street, just off Delaware Avenue, Mill Pond features walkways and waterfalls. Nearby Interstate 35 provides convenient access to Polk County amenities and the greater Des Moines area. This community offers Assisted Living and Care Center/Long Term Care options.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and services to residents, supporting their Personally Designed Living choices.
• Maintain consistency with regulations and established best practices.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience helpful but not required for Assisted Living roles.
• Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self-leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with all customers.
