About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Nursing Assistant to join our Float Pool. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide treatments such as IV discontinuation, restraint monitoring, and vital sign collection, and respond to patient requests. You will also document care in the electronic health system and support nurses with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provide treatments including IV discontinuation, restraint monitoring, and vital sign collection
- Respond to patient requests
- Document care in the electronic health system
- Support nurses with procedures
Requirements
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) training program, or relevant experience in acute or long-term care, or recent clinical rotation in RN or LPN program
- Current Basic Life Support CPR certification
- Physical capability and ability to pass a drug test
- Full-time, on-site role
Preferred Skills
- Prior hospital experience
- Proficiency with electronic health records
- Excellent communication skills
Schedule
28 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday.
