About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. The Nursing Assistant (CNA/NA) plays a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Bathing using basin-less bath products
• Oral hygiene
• Oral feeding and care of hair
• Transporting patients to and from various treatment centers
• Maintaining the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment
• Keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly
• Maintaining unit stock levels of supplies and equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
