Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care - Days
Building Location: Oak Crossing – Detroit Lakes
About the Role
Responsible for providing direct care to skilled nursing facility residents and serving their needs in a manner conducive to safety and comfort, within the scope of the nursing assistant role. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with nutritional needs, recognizes and addresses the challenges of the aging process, and promptly reports changes in resident condition to the shift nurse. Maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents. Must prevent abuse of vulnerable adults and maintain awareness of safety issues, identifying hazards and emergency situations while initiating corrective actions.
Requirements
- Current registration on the applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtained within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
- If transitioning from the Nursing Assistant – Student position, must have registration upon hire/transfer.
Schedule
- Shift: Day Rotation (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- FTE: 0.8
- Weekends: Rotation
- Holidays: Yes
- Call Obligation: No
- Union: Yes
Pay
Compensation Range: $18.71 – $28.07 per hour
