Responsible Caregiving
Provides direct care to skilled nursing facility residents, ensuring their safety and comfort. Performs personal hygiene care, assists with nutritional needs, and recognizes and reports changes in resident condition to the shift nurse.
Qualifications
- Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
- Maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for residents.
- Awareness of safety issues and ability to initiate corrective actions.
- Identifies and prevents abuse of vulnerable adults.
