Nursing Assistant-A7-Stroke Unit - DAYS

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the care team. In this role, you will brighten patients’ days, provide comfort through the night, and support clinical staff in delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient

Qualifications

• Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Additional requirements

• Vaccination or lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
• Flu vaccine during the flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, or approved medical or religious exemption
