Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient

Requirements

• Maintain confidentiality of employee information according to EEO guidelines
• Proof of vaccination or lab‑confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
• Annual flu vaccination (or approved medical/religious exemption) during flu season
• Ability to lift more than 35 pounds

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification for adult maneuvers (child and infant CPR may be required by some departments)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
