About the role
Whitley Place is a premier retirement community in Keller, Texas, providing quality care to residents in an ASSISTED LIVING, MEMORY CARE community.
Responsibilities
- Assists with instrumental activities of daily living
- Affords assistance with medication, treatments, and other care
- Encourages self-care and independence
- Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
- Sets up, serves meals, and cleans up afterwards
- Affords assistance with the planning and execution of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
- Treats residents with dignity and respect at all times
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED preferred
- Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred

Skills
- Knowledge of nursing or senior living
- Experience with medication and treatments
- Ability to encourage self-care and independence
- Experience escorting residents
- Experience setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterwards
- Experience planning and executing activities for residents
- Ability to treat residents with dignity and respect
