Nursery Teacher (full-time) - Children's Academy

Join Children's Academy of Education & Learning (part of the Chambliss Center for Children network) as an early childhood educator in our nursery. Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay

Starting at $13/hour for candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience; $15+/hour for those with a CDA. Pay increases based on education and experience.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Prior experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Prior infant care experience.
• Dependable, compassionate, and patient.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Take care of infants in a safe and loving way.
• Feed babies bottles and solid food (when ready).
• Change diapers and keep play, sleep, and changing areas clean.
• Comfort babies with cuddles, songs, and gentle care.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, parents, and volunteers.
• Monitor for any health concerns and respond as needed.
