Nursery Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring nursery babysitter to provide attentive childcare at First Presbyterian Church in Columbia, SC. The position involves working alongside another nursery worker, caring for a group of 6-10 children with ages ranging from birth to 4 years old.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children during the church service.
• Provide supervision and engagement with the children, including a 3‑year‑old boy.
• Work alongside another nursery worker to care for the group.
• No driving, feeding, bathing, or bedtime duties are required.
• The nursery environment does not have pets present.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a genuine love for working with young children.
• Meet safety standards for childcare.
• Be responsible and caring.
