Nurse Technician-NT (Med Tele)

Qualifications

• High school diploma, G.E.D., and enrolled in an approved or accredited nursing program.
• Prior to employment, must provide student transcripts indicating completion of Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior to employment, must provide a competency skills list from their learning institution.
• Must remain in good standing with their school of nursing while in this role.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Tech (CPCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA).

Requirements

• Works cooperatively with others as part of a team.
• Recognizes the importance of group goals.
• Performs designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient.

Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within one month of hire.
