Essential Job Functions
- Supports patients with daily living tasks, including meals, personal care, and progressive mobility.
- Affirms patients' quality of life related to nutrition, hydration, and elimination.
- Admits, transfers, and discharges patients according to the plan of care.
- Assists with patient elimination needs, such as ostomy care, enemas, and condom catheters.
- Maintains unit inventories of supplies and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Ensures fall risk patients have appropriate armbands, socks, and signage.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 6 months of related experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider; Nurse Aide Certification.
