Nurse Tech II
Pay range represents the lowest and highest possible rates for the position. Factors determining placement within the range include skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and comparison to existing employees in the role. Most newly hired employees are placed below the midpoint of the range.
PRN positions have pay calculated differently than full-time, regular part-time, and part-time roles. Rates depend on the position, experience, and shift commitment per department policy. PRN differential is added for certain positions.
About the role
Provides safe, efficient, and therapeutic patient care services under the direction of a Licensed Nurse and Medical Staff.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Six (6) months of experience performing Nursing/Patient Care Assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility (Nurse Tech I), OR current CA Certified Nurse Assistant certification (Nurse Tech II)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a related field
