Nurse Supervisor, RN, Weekends

Aviata Health Group is searching for a qualified RN Weekend Supervisor to join a patient- and family-focused community. This role is ideal for a team-oriented RN Supervisor who is driven and excited to help build a positive culture.

Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday: 16-hour shifts
• One 8-hour weekday shift dedicated to wound care

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing needs and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit
• Assist in staff development
• Provide direct resident care in accordance with established plans
• Supervise Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
• Conduct and document a complete data collection of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout treatment
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for assigned residents
• Assist in recruiting and hiring nursing staff
• Monitor compliance with resident record documentation requirements
• Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Ensure compliance with resident rights policies and resolve grievances with families and staff as needed
• Complete Preceptor Training
• Drive innovation in healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and concepts to improve systems and processes
• Develop a successful management team

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing administration
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care
