About the role
The Scheduler/Nursing Secretary position at NHC involves creating nursing department schedules, scheduling interviews, maintaining and auditing personnel files, tabulating hours worked by nursing staff for each pay period, and performing staffing meetings daily with nursing managers.
Responsibilities
- Create nursing department schedule
- Schedule interviews
- Maintain and audit personnel files
- Tabulate hours worked by nursing staff for each pay period
- Perform staffing meeting daily with nursing managers
Requirements
- Knowledge of scheduling is preferred
- LPN license is required
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- At least two years secretarial experience (preferred)
- Must be organized and present a professional appearance
